Why ISO 22716 Isn't UKAS-Accredited
A fair question we're asked often:
“Is your ISO 22716 certificate UKAS‑accredited?”
The honest answer is no — and the reason is structural, not a shortfall in our process. UKAS does not currently operate an accreditation scheme for ISO 22716 at all, for any certification body.
We operate to the principles of ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17065 regardless, and we're working towards accreditation for BRCGS Consumer Products as that scheme comes online.
